Robert P. Hannan is Managing Director of the Orange County Capital Development Corporation, which was founded in June of 2003. Prior to his association with OCCDC Mr. Hannan spent 40 years in the commercial banking business primarily with Manufacturers Hanover Trust and the Bank of New York. For the past 13 years, he served as Senior Vice President and Officer in Charge of the Bank of New York in Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan Counties. In that capacity, he was responsible for managing the bank's commercial lending business and sale of non-credit products to clients and prospects. He has extensive experience in working with companies ranging from small businesses to large corporations, including reviewing credit proposals and business plans.
Mr. Hannan is responsible for implementing the vision of the OCCDC Board in providing assistance to entrepreneurs seeking capital to establish or expand their business. In that role he has established relationships with equity funding organizations and individual investors. It is these relationships that provide the means for OCCDC to simplify the entrepreneur's search for equity by introducing qualified entrepreneurs to funding sources which have evidenced a willingness to work with businesses in Orange County.
Mr. Hannan serves on the Business Advisory Council of the School of Business at SUNY New Paltz. |
